District 2 Candidate - Colin Fee
As a clinical pharmacist with over eight years of experience, I have developed a unique perspective on primary care by working closely with an interdisciplinary team at one of the largest family practices in Langley. My focus is on improving patient outcomes through comprehensive chronic disease management, optimizing medication therapy, and ensuring patient safety. I am actively involved in quality improvement initiatives that enhance care delivery and mitigate medication-related risks, making sure that every patient receives evidence-based, effective treatments.
In my role, I collaborate with healthcare organizations such as Doctors of BC, Divisions of Family Practice, the BC Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network (CPCSSN), and the UBC Therapeutics Initiative to address complex healthcare challenges and continuously improve the quality of care. These collaborations allow me to contribute to broader healthcare goals while maintaining a firm commitment to patient safety.
My experience spans a wide range of responsibilities, including identifying pharmacotherapeutic issues, ordering and monitoring therapeutic drug levels, and driving initiatives to reduce medication errors. I am also proud of my leadership in fostering a patient-centred, culturally competent approach to care that aligns with the College’s goal of protecting the public by regulating pharmacy professionals.
I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and have been deeply committed to maintaining high ethical standards in my practice. By consistently prioritizing the safety and well-being of the public, I strive to contribute to the College's mandate of ensuring safe, equitable, and culturally respectful pharmacy care for all British Columbians.
