Less than 6 Years

If you have been a former licensee for less than six years and want to reinstate as a Full Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, complete the reinstatement requirements below before returning to practice.  

Note: If you are approaching the 6-year mark, ensure that you complete full licensing before the 6-year mark. You must take into account the processing time needed for the application and the submission of your CE requirements. If you surpass the 6-year mark, you will be required to apply for reinstatement under the “6 Years or More” category.

Here are the steps to reinstate your full licence:

  1. Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 1
  2. Continuing Education (CE) Requirements
    • Complete the CE requirements for reinstatement. See Programs for more information.
       
    • You will have access to submit your CE requirements through eServices after your Reinstatement Application has completed processing.

  3. Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 2
    • To be eligible to submit the Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 2, you must have completed your Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 1, including documents, CRC, and completed your CE requirements.
       
    • Log into eServices to complete the Licence Reinstatement Application - Part 2 and pay the licence fee (fee prorated to align with the March 31st expiry date).
       
    • Refer to the Application Checklist for any updated documents you need to upload.
       
    • Obtain Professional Liability Insurance.
       
    • After payment, a confirmation email will be sent the next day, including your licence number.

Drug Administration Certification (DAC) 

PRIME Enrolment (PharmaNet Access) 

  • All newly licenced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians requiring access to PharmaNet must enrol in PRIME.
  • Complete Step 1 of the PRIME enrollment process any time, but only complete Step 2 after 8pm on the day your full licence is granted.
