Less than 6 Years
If you have been a former licensee for less than six years and want to reinstate as a Full Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, complete the reinstatement requirements below before returning to practice.
Note: If you are approaching the 6-year mark, ensure that you complete full licensing before the 6-year mark. You must take into account the processing time needed for the application and the submission of your CE requirements. If you surpass the 6-year mark, you will be required to apply for reinstatement under the “6 Years or More” category.
Here are the steps to reinstate your full licence:
- Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 1
- Access the Online Licence Application in eServices to get started.
- Refer to the Application Checklist for the documents you need to upload.
- Pay the reinstatement application fee and criminal record check fee, as per the Fee Schedule.
- A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be initiated upon receipt of payment.
- Refer to the Professional Licence Reinstatement page for further information about processing times and payment.
- Access the Online Licence Application in eServices to get started.
- Continuing Education (CE) Requirements
- Complete the CE requirements for reinstatement. See Programs for more information.
- You will have access to submit your CE requirements through eServices after your Reinstatement Application has completed processing.

- Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 2
- To be eligible to submit the Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 2, you must have completed your Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 1, including documents, CRC, and completed your CE requirements.
- Log into eServices to complete the Licence Reinstatement Application - Part 2 and pay the licence fee (fee prorated to align with the March 31st expiry date).
- Refer to the Application Checklist for any updated documents you need to upload.
- Obtain Professional Liability Insurance.
- After payment, a confirmation email will be sent the next day, including your licence number.
- To be eligible to submit the Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 2, you must have completed your Licence Reinstatement Application – Part 1, including documents, CRC, and completed your CE requirements.
Additional Practice Information
Drug Administration Certification (DAC)
- Apply for Drug Administration Certification (DAC) to administer drugs via injection and intranasal route
PRIME Enrolment (PharmaNet Access)
- All newly licenced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians requiring access to PharmaNet must enrol in PRIME.
- Complete Step 1 of the PRIME enrollment process any time, but only complete Step 2 after 8pm on the day your full licence is granted.
