6 Years or More

If you are a Former and/or Non-Practicing registrant for six years or more and want to reinstate as a Full Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, complete the reinstatement requirements below.

You must not provide pharmacy services until your registration has been reinstated by the College.

If you have any questions, contact the Registration Department at: [email protected].

Note: Step 2, 3 and 4 can be completed in any order.

  1. Submit the Application for Reinstatement to the College

Review the general information on the Registration Reinstatement page. Use the Application Checklist for Reinstatement to collect all required documents and/or information prior to submitting your application and scan them in accordance with the Scanning Guidelines and Checklist for Document Submissions.

Submit your reinstatement application and the required documents online* by clicking on the “Reinstatement” tab after logging into eServices using the username previously issued to you when you were a registrant.  If you are unable to log in or forgot your username, contact the Registration Department.

*If you are currently registered as a Non-Practicing or Temporary registrant, refer to the Offline Process section on the Registration Reinstatement page

Once you have submitted payment, allow 5 business days for your application to be reviewed. You will be notified by email when there is an update to your documents and application status.

The processing time for a reinstatement application is at least 45 days due to the processing time for the Criminal Record Check (CRC). If adjudication or fingerprinting is required, the processing time will be further extended. Visit the CRC webpage for more information

You will be notified by email when your reinstatement application is completed (i.e. all documents are approved and your CRC result is received from the Ministry).

  2. Successfully complete the Jurisprudence Examination (JE)
Results are valid for 3 years from the exam date in accordance with Registration Committee Policy-10.

  5. Apply for Full Registration (as a Full Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician)
You may submit your Full Registration application online after completing all the required assessments listed above. All assessment results must be valid in order to be eligible to apply.
