District 4 - Travis Petrisor
Originally hailing from a small town outside of Lethbridge, Alberta, after completing my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience Degree at the University of Lethbridge, I moved to Saskatoon where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
My wife, a veterinarian, and I moved to Penticton in 2011 and I have worked in a community pharmacy setting ever since. In 2014, I became a partner in an independent community pharmacy in Penticton. Currently, I am an owner in three community pharmacies throughout the South Okanagan.
My wife and I have two young daughters. We enjoy spending time at the ski hill in the winter and the lake in the summer - truly enjoying all that the beautiful Okanagan has to offer. .
I currently spend some of my time working on a multidisciplinary chronic disease team at the Penticton Chronic Kidney Disease clinic managing renal patients. In addition, I have represented pharmacy as a member of the South Okanagan Clinical Ethics Committee at Penticton Regional Hospital since 2014.
In addition to my education and experience, I feel that my enthusiasm, willingness to learn and commitment to the board would qualify me for this position. Thank you for taking the time to consider my candidacy.
