The BC Cancer Agency has two online educational resources available to pharmacists.
To support pharmacists who provide supportive care medications to oncology patients, the BC Cancer Agency would like to announce the following freely available online educational resources:
This self-directed, online program is designed to support the knowledge development of pharmacists in a variety of oncology topics. Core Clinical Practice topics are now available under the Level 1 tab. Plans for advanced clinical practice (Level 2) topics are underway.
This guide leads the reader to web-based resources on prevention and treatment of chemotherapy-induced adverse effects and cancer symptom management.
There is also a Frequently Asked Questions section for community oncology network pharmacy staff.
