The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) invites pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to participate as an assessor for the PEBC Qualifying Examination – Part II (OSCE/OSPE).
To apply or for more information go to the PEBC website at: http://www.pebc.ca
The PEBC Qualifying Examination consists of two components: Part I, the multiple-choice examination and Part II, a performance assessment, known as the Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) or Objective Structured Performance Exam (OSPE). The exam assesses communications/interpersonal skills, the application of knowledge to simulations of commonly encountered patient scenarios and other aspects of professional competence that do not lend well to written examinations. The competencies assessed for both of the examinations are those adopted by all member provinces of the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA).
