As soon as naloxone became available without a prescription in British Columbia (March 22, 2016), the College was ready to deliver a series of education sessions developed in partnership with the BC Centre for Disease Control and the Ministry of Health.
College registrants must now include a minimum amount of accredited learning hours every year to maintain registration. The decision, which was approved at the November Board meeting, requires registrants at a minimum to submit 5 accredited hours of their 15 total learning hours.
