COllege Bylaw Amendments on pharmacy security Posted for Public Comment
On April 14, 2016, the Board of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia approved certain amendments to the College Bylaws for public posting.
The draft Bylaws have been posted on the College’s website here: bccollege.pharmacy/bylaws-comment.
Amendments include definitions, responsibility of Pharmacy Manager, Owners and Directors, pharmacy security measures, and minor housekeeping.
The College conducted several stakeholder engagement sessions in the process of preparing the draft Bylaws for public comment. See the visual below to track the progress to date (click to enlarge):
Professional Practice Policy 74 - Community Pharmacy Security
A draft revised Professional Practice Policy 74 - Community Pharmacy Security has also been posted as a companion document as there are some draft Bylaw amendments that reference this draft revised PPP-74.
Comments on the draft Bylaws should be submitted to the College or to the Ministry of Health no later than July 16, 2016.
