Norm had a long and distinguished pharmacy career in BC and across Canada. He was owner/operator of Norman’s Pharmacy before becoming Registrar of the College for 17 years from 1978 until his retirement in 1995.
"Norm was a true gentleman, with a great sense of humour and a wonderful laugh," says current Registrar Bob Nakagawa. "He was a leader, mentor and friend to me and a generation of pharmacists."
During his time as Registrar, Norm was at the helm of many major College accomplishments, including the purchase of the Vancouver office and the establishment of the provincial PharmaNet system that has served British Columbians so well.
Norm was held in highest regard by his peers and all who knew him. He will be dearly missed. A guestbook has been set up on Norm’s memorial page for those wishing to leave a comment for his family.
