Manager of Inspections and Special Investigations (Permanent, Full-Time)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The College’s Conduct, Inquiry and Remediation Department is seeking to hire a registered pharmacist and/or a professional with relevant legal background to take on the new role of Manager of Inspections and Special Investigations. The successful candidate will have over 5 years of relevant work experience in regulatory complaints adjudication and administrative law processes; and is experienced in leading and conducting onsite inspections and investigations. It would be an asset for the successful incumbent to have over 5 years of pharmacy practice experience and/or previous management experience.

With effective leadership skills and ability to maintain a high performing team, the manager provides mentorship, oversight and guidance to the inspections and special investigations unit. Based in the lower mainland, this role is also responsible for leading and conducting onsite pharmacy inspections and special investigations, and streamlining operational procedures to ensure the inspections and special investigations unit is functioning efficiently.

Salary and Benefits

The compensation for this position is $127,144 to $136,924 annually based on a 35-hour work week. The starting salary will be determined based on factors such as the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience; salaries of other employees in the same salary range; market conditions and other relevant factors.
