On November 4, 2022, Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, issued an Order permitting health professionals, including pharmacy technicians, already authorized to administer COVID-19 vaccines, to also administer influenza vaccines.
Mislabelled compounded acetaminophen sold at Richmond pharmacy
November 9, 2022 (Vancouver, BC) - The College of Pharmacists of BC (CPBC) has been made aware of a mislabelled compounded analgesic, acetaminophen, for children sold at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at Cambie and No. 5 Roads in Richmond, BC between November 2 to November 6th.
At it’s September 23, 2022 meeting, the College Board approved and filed amendments to the Fee Schedules under both the Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act (PODSA) Bylaws and Health Professions Act (HPA) Bylaws in accordance with the College’s 2022/2023 Budget.
