PROVINCE PASSES PODSA AMENDMENTS
On April 25, 2016, the provincial government passed the Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act (PODSA) amendments. Health Minister Terry Lake moved the third reading of the amendments, which authorize the College to identify pharmacy owners, something that was not possible in the past.

After carefully considering all eligible applicants, the College of Pharmacist of BC Board has appointed Sorell Wellon as the District 8 Pharmacy Technician Representative to the Board. Sorell Wellon's term of office will end at the start of the November 2016 Board meeting.

Board Member Resignation - Bal Dhillon (District 8)
Board member Bal Dhillon, District 8 - Pharmacy Technician representative, resigned from the Board on February 22, 2016 in order to spend more time with her family.
