UBC CPPD UPDATE 2025 CONFERENCE

This year UBC’s Continuing Pharmacy Professional Development (CPPD) celebrates its 36th annual Update conference.

Update 2025 Conference

Registration for CPPD’s annual Update Conference is now open! and will allow pharmacy professionals and all health care providers to enhance and update their knowledge and skills. In doing so, attendees will be able to improve patient care, medication management, interprofessional collaboration, and public safety. 

This multi-day conference offers 5 accredited virtual sessions (5 CEU) on April 26th, 2025:

  1. Lab Test Stewardship and Decision-Making
  2. Practical Applications for Pharmacists Ordering and Interpreting Laboratory Tests
  3. Navigating the Canadian Contraceptive Landscape
  4. GLP-1 Medications in Diabetes, Obesity, and Beyond  
  5. Hormonal Replacement Therapy in Menopause

There is also a 3-hour accredited in-person session (3 CEU) on April 27th, 2025: Prescribing with Confidence: An Interactive MACS Workshop. 

The Conference is a great opportunity to learn and apply practical pharmacy skills in today’s landscape and build relationships with pharmacists and other health care providers. Continuing Education requirements for BC Pharmacist Licensure will commence again for the April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026 registration year. Learn from passionate and evidence-based clinical experts while earning up to 8 CEUs of accredited, continuing pharmacy professional development.
