Completing Your Renewal, Registration or CE Over the Holidays?
If you are planning to submit your continuing education or complete your registration or pharmacy license renewal over the holidays, make sure you are prepared.
The CPBC Office will be closed from December 25, 2024, to January 1, 2025. This means staff will not be available to help answer questions or provide technical support during this time.
The CPBC Office will re-open on January 2, 2025. Any issues or questions that arise during the closure will be addressed at this time.
Here are some helpful tips to ensure you’re prepared:
Renewals
- Please submit the following items as early as possible:
- Pharmacist/pharmacy technician registration renewal
- Pharmacy license renewal requirements
- Practice review action items
- Continuing Education information
- Any requirements for reinstatement or new registration
Submitting these items early allows CPBC staff ample time to assist you if you have any questions or require support.
- Review the requirements and steps involved in completing your registration renewal or pharmacy licence renewal and ensure you have all the information required. See the FAQs for Registration and Licensure on the College website to answer questions you may have.
Continuing Education Requirements
- Review the requirements of the Professional Development and Assessment Program (PDAP) and how to submit your Continuing Education through the PDAP Portal.
Practice Review Program
- Review the Practice Review Program information including the PRP support tools and resources to help prepare for a practice review or complete action items.
Transition to a Single Renewal Date
- Beginning March 2024, the College of Pharmacists of BC will transition to a single renewal date for all registrants. The new billing period for all registrants will begin April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. Please review our Pro-Rated Fee Calculator and FAQs for more information on this change.
